We Are Outta Here!

The time has finally come for us to be able to start our summer adventures! YAY! We are super excited to get to spend some time with our dad, we have missed him these past few weeks. We are also EXTREMELY grateful to Uncle Dustin for his tireless help and the long hours he has put in helping (mostly him doing, me "supervising") to get our camper into tip top shape for us! And also to Grandpa Gordon for coming to our rescue when Uncle Dustin got a job before he was able to finish! (What WAS he thinking? :o) Didn't he know we couldn't do it without him!?) We really appreciate all the help they has given and the knowledge they have shared with us.

We get to go for the week, then it is back home for a few of us. Seth and I have Day Camp for scouts and Hannah has Beehive camp the week after the 4th. I hope my tushie will survive the ride! Wish us luck and don't miss us too much!

Only Bug!

We were on our way to Logan this afternoon, when Lyra asked me, "Mom, what's that hangy down thing in your throat?" I, being the all-knowing mom, replied "It's called your uvula." "Oh," was her response. A few more minutes passed and she asks, "Mom, where are my utahnsils?" After a few giggles (I stifled MOST of mine!), we decided that tonsils give you a sore throat, but UTAHNSILS make you a Utahn!

Three Little Indians

Seth wanted to do a "rain dance" and of course he had to look like an Indian to do so. Lyra and Pyper couldn't be left out! So, some fabric remnant headbands and washable marker warpaint later, we had these.....

I think they make cute Indians, and apparently pretty good ones at that. It's raining!
